We stepped out quite late for dinner and realised most places had zero vegetarian options! Maruka was a savior!! Jon was the best, he was really nice and helped us pick out veggie options. We tried txakoli for the first time and had some amazing bites! Super grateful- go here either way and especially if you are vegetarian:)

We came here for lunch and got their set menu which we felt was great value! We got a drink, side salad, chicken leg with potatoes, and choice of coffee or vanilla ice cream to finish. We also added on a cheesecake which was phenomenal! It comes in a small glass jar so not served like the traditional basque cheesecake but the flavour was incredible. The vibe in the restaurant was great too, lots of locals having a drink and a chat. We would definitely come back here to try more of their menu!

We were wandering through the streets of Getaria when we stumbled across this amazing restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly, welcoming, bilingual hostess. Maruka proceeded to amaze us with its truly delicious meal, along with an extraordinary local wine list. Gracias estuvo delicioso!
